Along with embarkation of public consultation regarding to new reclamation land plan, how can our government maximize its utility effectively efficient? How will they take care of our livelihood crisis? What measure will be taken to serve as eligibility criteria to grant large-scale infrastructure projects? All are now under controversy, and we care not only because of our insufficient land resource, but also the lessons we learn from the last decade – corruption and collusion. Pleading for a sun-shine governance, our government has to take people-oriented concept into account when decide each project implementation, as well as public construction. A mature civil discussion platform in society is the best measure to monitor our government against any non-scientific decision.
To further elaborate the topic in last section of monthly Roundtable, we will keep on discussing about new urban planning development in an attempt to explore the feasibility of environmental protection. In terms of collaboration with the neighbouring cities to build a green city hand in hand, appropriate policy and strategy implementation matters.
“Civil Roundtable” is a monthly seminar organized by Macau Civil Power. 隨著"新城規劃"的諮詢工作展開，新填的土地如何有效運用？迫在眉睫的民生問題怎樣回應？其中的大型基建工程會以什麼方式來進行批給？正在討論的沸沸揚揚！不單是因為我城的土地資源已經非常匱乏，必須惜而重之的善用；更重要的核心問題是，如何從過去十年的痛苦經驗之中，汲取教訓！逃避利益輸送、官商勾結、向個別財團傾斜的覆轍。在誓言旦旦要打造陽光政府的過程中，每項重大政策的落實、每一項公共工程的開展，都是邁向陽光的腳印。而成熟的公民社會，就是監察政府是否行差踏錯的最佳利器。
