How can the new urban planning absorb the voices of vulnerable groups in Macao? And making those vulnerable groups become participants in community building, sharing the fruitful results of society development? Regards with the supporting policies of Macao SAR government for vulnerable groups and low-income people, such as “rental allowance”, “labor training grants”, “increase scholarships quota”, “free food system” and “elders grants”, are all of these strategies can help people to live out of poverty? What is the role the “new urban planning”?
To further elaborate the topic in last section of monthly Roundtable, we will keep on discussing about new urban planning development in an attempt to explore how we can develop the policies to help the vulnerable groups in our society; in order to create a harmony city which is, the elders are all well taken care, the adults are given employment and the young are enabled to grow up.
